Seriously addicted to Cath!

As you well know Im addicted to Cath
Maybe because its spring?
Maybe because the colours are energising?
Maybe because I live in a house full of boys ?

Whatever!
Maybe im just a little obsessive... ahem...

That's why I NEEDED both of these!
(Only $19.95 now too btw)

Then yesterday I found this.

What's an addict to do?
Move to the UK?
Probably the only solution!

Maybe I could live here.

Nay... I MUST live here!

Id Cath it up a little

Yep, this is my house!

Oops... That right, I completely forgot to buy Paul Massey's house!

Cheap books!!!!

Just a quick post.
I jumped on the book depository site this morning and noticed that they have some incredible savings on some of my faves.
Ill be starting my Christmas shopping.

For a hardback save $40 OMG.

Also a hardback.
I've paid more for lunch!

This is only $26.10 today

Hardback!!!

$23.63 Again a hardback.

The paperbacks cost more than hardbacks today!

Paperback, but still awesome.

Their prices change frequently (and often really fast) with the exchange rates so hop over and check it out while the $dollar is still good.
Good luck.

P.S- I am an affiliate but I don't care if you use my links or not these are just bargains I wanted to share with my friends. Becoming an affiliate just seemed like a natural progression when I started blogging because I have such an addiction to the place, it was never considered to be a serious money making venture.
I knew I would spend a whole lot of time blogging about the books I have and I wanted to make people aware (if you weren't already) that there is another option to Amazon. Books are sooo expensive in Australia that the Book depository is a thrifty option for us and shipping is what usually breaks the deal here so having free shipping is just extraordinary.
I get super excited about bargains and will tell anyone that stands still long enough, I am a tight ass after all. Im sure being an affiliate hasn't put people off but I just wanted to share with you why I am. Alright enough babble. Get on over there.   M xx

Im addicted to Cath Kidston! Can you help?

Happy Monday my Lovelies.

I know Ive been a bad blogger lately.
Ive promised photo's of this and that and explanations and whatnot and Ive delivered none.

All sorts of important nonsense took my hand and led me away from my computer and Ive only just made it back.
I will make up for it this week!

Doing an image search this morning for more Cath Kidston inspiration I found something really disturbing!

This photo!
How come I never knew this existed?

Im sure Ive mentioned it before, this kitchen is my all time favourite ever in the whole entire world bar none ever! true!

I first encountered it here like this.
I fell hard for Paul Massey's London home (He has since sold it I believe, shame I didn't have a spare couple of $Mill that week!)

Then I saw it here looking like this
Image Via here

As The delicious miss Dahl's kitchen.
And I fell even harder
(She has finally made it to our shores via foxtel but more on that latter, have I mentioned how much I adore Sophie Dahl?)

But now to see it like this with a Cath  Makeover Im simply beside myself.

When did this happen? How did I miss this?
And how can I get more?
I must know?
Can you help?

Righty-yo  then, Im off to Cath up my kitchen!

Oh me oh my look what I found on the side of the road!

The side of the road people!
Can you believe it?
Someone just threw these out.
Luckily I was walking past, had I just driven by I would never had seen them hiding behind a pile of building material.
must have been my day.
xx

Can I live here please?

Im currently craving space!

Small but still pretty

Lovely.

Sigh!

The rooms seem very small though don't they?

I could feel very inspired blogging from here.

Chair love.
(Im a sucker for anything old on castors)

Interesting bed!
(In a good way)

Oh Gosh!
Me + Book + Winter sun = Heaven

Interesting? Water vessel above a window?
Beautiful none the less.

Imagine being this organised in the garden!
And pretty!

More here.

A Before and After

I was hoping to give you run down of the weekend explaining my previous post but Im so flat out that there is just no time.
I did manage a quick project on the weekend though.

Before

After.

This is going above the boys desk when its done.
It still amazes me how paint can transform something so basic and ugly into something actually quiet pretty.

Anyway, I hope your weekend was awesome, Ill be back with an explanation latter.

Are bikes in decorating the height of chic? Mine sure is...Ahem...

I found these images over at design sponge illustrating just how good bikes can look in the home!

The other half is a keen cyclist.

He loves his bike.
Every opportunity he can get to ride he does.

It goes without saying that he loves Le tour.

When he cant ride outside he puts the bike on a trainer (this basically turns it into an exercise bike) and he rides in the lounge room whilst watching TV...Really loud... With the fans on... In winter!

Have I mentioned we have a very small house with only one living area?

The bike has become a permanent fixture in the lounge room.
There is really no where else he can go.

See!
CHIC!
ahem

Well chic isn't really the word I have for this.
It does rhyme with Chic though!
Its seems I just don't have the knack when it comes to decorating with bikes.

My latest finds OR what the *$#% am I going to do with these?

Beautiful old books.
(These aren't the problem I know exactly what im going to do with these!  Hoard them for no specific reason!)

You know how much I love old books.
I picked these up at the in-laws garage sale, I never knew they had so many.

Vintage Maps.
Mostly from the 80s.
(Does it bother anyone else that the 80s are now officially classed as vintage?)

1$ a packet from Vinnies.
I bought all 6, I couldn't leave any behind.
This isn't even half of them.

Im sure I've seen heaps of projects that use old maps.
(Like I don't already have enough projects im not finishing.)
Ive got no idea what im going to do with them.

Wallpaper the boys room maybe.

Pair this with some Cath Kidston Cowboy print and I may just have a theme for their room...finally...
If only they liked cowboys!

Im open to suggestions!
What would you do with them?

Flowers for your Monday.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Mine went waaay too fast.

All these images are from the seriously talented selina lake.
Because im in the mood for spring flowers.

via decor8
And I was able to read most of her book and it rocks.
Loved it.

What could help a Monday a better than flowers.
