I have a glitch...

Apparently...
No virus ... Yay
No human error...Mostly (Doh)...Yay again.
But no real solution... Damn.
It's the same glitch that caused this and will "probably just go away by itself".
Whatever.

The cheeky gremlin as its now affectionately known, is causing all sorts of silliness to occur.
He deactivates the post comment button, he's moved nearly everything to my junk box, he changes my font randomly  (I did that for dramatic purposes fyi, he seems to be co-operating today)
and now he's taken to changing my font colour whenever he see's fit.
Things take twice as long because when they change it refuses to change back.

So, Ive decided to just ignore it and go with it, if I need to reply to anyone ill do it via my personal email, and ill just post in whatever format it decides, actually this could be fun!

Thank you all for your feedback, it was really helpful and it certainly eased my worried mind.

Hallway sneaky peak

Ok, I promised you a reveal this week and as it is Sunday today is my last opportunity.
We've been looking to wallpaper our hall for ages.
We decided on dandelion in cocoa by Porters paints but had a feeling that it may be a little too dark, then we did the sums and realised we'd need over $800 worth of paper to do it, Hmmm not so thrifty...

Then I heard Graham & Brown were having a sale, so in keeping with the thrifty theme I chose only from the sale items (this was not easy as there were so many of the full priced papers I wanted and the full priced ones are actually a very reasonable price)

I have to say though I love my choice, its perfect for a bland hallway and it was a quarter of the price of our original idea.
Gotta love thrift.
Before

After.

Just a small sneaky peak for now as the rest of the photos include another makeover, remember this post when I found those doors? well they have been installed but need some finishing touches before Ill let you see them. Till then my lovlies.

Sorry!

And has this happened to anyone else?

interrose.co.uk
Whilst chatting to a friend this morning It was brought to my attention that she had never received any replies to the comments she left... That's very odd because I replied directly to her every time...

This obviously leads me to think that this has been happening to most of my replies (I know some went through as Ive had return emails)
I have to admit that I had a suspicion something wasn't right, I checked what I was doing, fixed some settings probs and went back to it thinking everything was fine, but apparently not.

I felt physically ill at the thought of all the lovely comments you left appearing to be ignored (minor panic attack set in with me pacing the house saying shit repeatedly lol yes, funny now.)

What is the point of blogging without the lines of communication open? that is the best part for me, to be able to talk to others and share ideas and information and to make new friendships.

So I guess all I can do now is apologise and reassure you that I do love you ;-) and I fully appreciate you all and thank you for hanging around even though I seemed to be ignoring you.

Im getting someone to check it out as I think its more than something Im doing (Im unable to leave comments sometimes, Ive lost posts then they reappear and my settings change for no apparent reason, just odd stuff, nothing else is affected just blogger) So im hoping all will be better soon.

Those roses are real by the way! they are called happy roses, interesting aren't they.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend .

p.s~ Ill reply in comments until Im certain its fixed.

Vintage Club Chairs

My heart aches for these.
Ive been on the hunt for an old club chair for many many years.
Ever since I let a beautiful faded red one go about 10 years ago.
My local charity shop was virtually giving it away for $40.

But it was so heavy and we were just about to move into our first house together and were drowning in stuff already so the other half talked me out of it (He didn't understand my love for vintage and op shopping at first, he was a consumer of new only, he's since seen the error of his ways) He now admits that he was very wrong.

red ticking

Ive not found one since, well not for a reasonable price anyway.

I wouldn't say no to this either.

And that was also the last time I listened to him Lol.
